Why anime naming is unusually difficult
Cour titles, absolute numbers, movie-length first episodes, OVAs stuffed into season packs, English dubs that arrive months later, and groups that encode “Second-04” instead of S02E04. A parser that works for sitcoms will mangle Frieren.
Original names stay original
AniFix preserves the posted title exactly. Normalization is a separate fact. If we rewrite the source string, you cannot tell what was claimed versus what was concluded.
Confidence is not a vibe
Inspected directly from the media or cryptographic evidence.

What AniFix does not do
AniFix indexes metadata and NZB references. It does not host the underlying media, manage a local collection, or stream episodes. Emaki, Sonarr, SABnzbd, and similar tools do that work. The long-term goal is trustworthy automation — not the largest raw release count.
