Privacy

Public catalog browsing does not require an account. If you create one, AniFix stores the profile, preferences, Wanted rules, notification settings, connection records, API-key records, and support requests needed to provide the features you choose.

Private activity and controls

Search terms are not added to your public profile. Download history is private, disabled by default, and can be cleared by you. You can also make your profile private, revoke API keys, disconnect integrations, remove a profile icon, and request account deletion from account settings.

Authentication and integrations

The authentication service manages passwords and sessions. Discord and SABnzbd connections are account-scoped; secrets used for those integrations stay in server-side storage rather than browser JavaScript. Connected providers process data under their own terms.

Payments and operations

Payments are handled by Ko-fi and its connected payment processors. AniFix does not receive or display full payment-card details. Local telemetry is disabled by default. Any production analytics or error provider must use AniFix's restricted, identifier-free event schema.

This is a pre-launch privacy summary. Provider identities, concrete retention periods, operator details, and an effective date must be published and verified before public launch.
